005 This is a large and populous village on the Sea Shore extending along from 20 mile Stone on both Sides of the road from Stornoway to Ness with a few exceptions the houses are built of peat moss lined with Stone and thatched all of which is on the worst construction there is a large portion of arable land attached which is considered by the natives good there is in Summer time Some fishing done here.

005 This is a portion of Country along the Shore Containing now only one farm house to which all the land is attached it Contained a number of houses before now all of which are razed to the ground with the exception of Ath Cheapach the ruins of which are Still to be Seen the greater part of it is now made arable Situated at west end of Gabhsunn O Thuath
