A church belonging to the Established Church of Scotland It is built of lime and stone, slated, in good repair and Contains about 400 sittings but has not been used as a place of worship Since the year 1845. The inhabitants of Ness being now of the Free church persuasion it is not liKely to be again used. for the purpose for which it was erected.

003 [situation] On the northern side of the plan, nearly adjoining to and west of Suainabost village.
A low flat tract of land, the surface of which was formerly composed of peat moss. It now produces pretty good rough pasture It contains a few small enclosures and is intersected by two old fences.
