003 A rectangular stone building, with gables, on the margin of Amhuinn Shuainabost, and is situated on the only grass yard in the Parish of Ness. Three of its walls are still standing, and the fourth is partly fallen. It was formerly the Parish church of Ness, and became a ruin in 1829. It is said to have been built in 1756 and to have derived its name from its first Pastor. When it was first built is not known.

003 The site of an old church on the Sea Coast near the mouth of Amhuinn Shuinabost. It has been a ruin during the memory of the oldest man in Lewis, and its stones were used in building Teampull Pheadair which is adjacent to it. It was situated on the summit of a small Knoll but the date of its erection is unknown.
