Provost R Brown		 012.03 A large and Substantial Aqueduct Bridge, of One Arch, built of Stone, and Spanning the River Cart, Over Which the Glasgow, Paisley and Ardrossan Canal passes, and was erected for the purpose by the Glasgow, Paisley and Ardrossan Canal Company.
It takes its name from its proximity to the lands of Blackhall, which are adjoining.
