006.16 A small feature on "Gibblaston" ground steep on the North and West sides. It is supposed there was a Castle hereabouts from which the hill obtained the name.
It is in no way connected with the Roman antiquity mentioned by Crawfurd in his History of Renfrew, situated upon the same farm.
