The vestige of an Ancient British Camp occupying the crown of a hill to the South east of the Village of Crossmyloof, The Vallum or wall is quite distinct in many places and sufficiently shews the original extent of the Camp, but as it is quite close to the hedge which surrounds the Camp it wont as much of shewing on the plan. It is now planted with trees, and from its elevated position a delightful and wide-spreading prospect of the surrounding Country is obtained_
