086 This name is applied to an avenue leading from the turnpike road near Quarrymill to Scone Palace through Scone ParK. It was finished in 1842 and opened the same year by Her Majesty Queen Victoria when on a visit to Scone Palace, from which circumstance it obtained the name.

086 This was the parish church and was built about the year 1624, but nothing remains of it at present except the aisle, which is in good preservation, having a slated roof and is used as the family burialplace of the Earl of Mansfield. It is situated on the Boot Hill or Mote Hill, contiguous to the palace.
