The site of these buildings is pointed out by tradition to be the immediate vicinity of St Leonard's Cottage which was not many years ago a farm house, simply called St Leonard's, and Mr. Marshall says he has always heard it stated that this farm house was built on the very site. Mr. Ross, Solicitor states that he heard his father point out the same site or a little eastward of the house, and on a plan of Perth dated 1792 the site is marked or referenced on the immediate east side of the house now called St Leonards Cottage, and of
