098 [Situation] On the west side of the Dundee Road.
The remains of the old Church of Kinnoull Consists of a plain building with Gothic windows. It was the north wing or aisle of the church and is nearly a square. This is the only part of the church that now remains except a portion of a low wall which appears to have been part of the southern wall of the Church and is part of the enclosure of a family burial ground.

BURIAL VAULT of the Kinnoull Family 098 The part of the church above referred to which is still standing has been preserved and is still kept in good repair by the Kinnoull family they having a burial vault beneath the floor to which there is access by a doorway within the building. Within this building there is a handsome monument to the first Earl of Kinnoull Lord Chancellor Hay. See extracts next page and following [pages 40 & 41]
