064 A very handsome new building in the form of a Church, with a massive Tower on the south side of an enclosure surrounded by a high wall, and now forming the Burial ground of the Family of Kinloch The Ruins of a chapel stood on the exact spot occupied by the present structure but were demolished at its erection; it existed long prior to the Reformation.

(which is inted, as a mausoleum, or vault for the family of Kinloch) James Fitchie Land Steward to Mr. Kinloch confirms this, so does Mr. Clark of Balmyle, and it is generally so understood in the neighbourhood.
