Three principal roads intersect the parish respectively northward, eastward, and north-eastward, the second and third along the Tay, and the first through the village of Airntully from Perth to Caputh". The main line from Perth to Aberdeen called the Scottish North Eastern Railway passes through the Eastern side of this Parish, also the Perth and Inverness Railway passes through the parish.
