The Person who Keeps the ferry pays an annual rent for it to the Baroness Ruthven, this rent includes also "the Boat Ho. [House]" & garden attached where the ferry-man & family reside The word "Ferry" should not appear with this name so far as the place is locally Known, the "Boat of Forgan" simply explains itself in the locality
