It is bounded on the South by the Tay, on the North by the Hilly district which is the base of the Sidlaw Hills; on the West by the Boundary between the Parishes of Kinnoull and Kinfauns - at Barnhill Toll Bar -- and on the East by the County Boundary between Perth & Forfar, at Invergowrie, and Comprises the whole or parts of the following Parishes: Viz [namely] - Kinfauns, Kinnoull (detd [detached]), St. Madoes, Kilspindie, Kinnaird, Errol, Inchture, Longforgan and Invergowrie. The district is Celebrated for its high Class of Agriculture
