107 A large river which flows out of the foot of Loch Earn, and after a course of several miles falls into the River Tay near Abernethy, its banks are invariably low, and after heavy rain it inundates a large extent of country along the margin of its banks. Its principal tributaries are the Ruchil, Lednock, Turret, Pow, Machany and May.
