117 ; 126 | "Ardoch was erected into a parish quoad omnia by a decreet from the Court of Session of date 21st February 1855 in virtue of Act of Parliament of Scotland 1707 entitled Act for the Plantation of Kirks and valuation of Teinds, conformable to the 19th Act of Parliament 1698" Extract from Church Register. The parish of Ardoch was formed by disjoining certain portions from the neighbouring parishes of Muthill, Blackford and Dunblane and is a separate independent parish in every respect excepting the support of the poor; which is conducted in the same way by the three above mentioned parishes, as previous to the erection of Ardoch into a separate parish.
