On the east of the Preaching Howe lie a few flat rocks, one portion of which resembles an arm chair with a series of steps up to it receiving the name of the King's Arm Chair It is apparently natural. How it drived its name or whether royalty ever Condescended to rest in such an uncomfortable seat is very doubtful.
