110 | The Ruins of this church Stood in the centre of the present graveyard up till 1802 when they were entirely removed & taken to build the present Church. No date can be fixed for the erection of this church but all writings of it extant go tp prove it very ancient, there is little doubt but it was contemporaneons with the Pictish Dynasty which owned Abernethy as the Seat of government. |

110 | Part of the walls of this building Stand within the recollection of the Authorities, at present not a vestige remains as all has been carried away for building purposes elsewhere;there is Some doubt whither this was really a Culdees Institution, but from the Priory books St. Andrews it appears that the Culdees had an university here See Fullerton &c the last remnant of the walls was removed about 50 years ago, parts of the foundation are Still being dug up as Graves are Sunk, It stood in the N. E. [North East] Corner of the present graveyard. |
