018 [Situation] About ½ Mile South of Traquair House
At the spot indicated on on Trace, there was found a stone Containing the ashes of human bones, which on Coming in Contact with the Air crumbled Away to powder. This is Supposed to have been an ancient burying place As there have been two near or three similar found near the Same spot. This Coffin was found in the year 1831
