A well dedicated to the Patron Saint of the Parish was situated in the Glebe No. 259 but covered up some time since. - In the Statistical Acct. [Account] 1845 reference is made to a tradition of a Bull's hide full of Gold being deposited in its neighbourhood - The surveyors were unable to discover this treasure. -
