A Stone about 3 feet high, of a circular form And hollowed on the top, presenting the form of a basin - This is Said to be the font which Stood in the Chapel of St Gordian from whence it was removed to it's present position to mark the Spot where three lairds' lands met - It is Still in a tolerable State of preservation And is regarded with a Kind of reverence by the inhabitants of the district.
