100 A piece of Rough pasture, a slight eminence, generally known to be the site of an ancient Romish Chapel dedicated to St. Mary. Tradition gives no account of its origion, but it is supposed the authorities given to have flourished about the twelfth century It is upon the property of John Wylie Esqr. [Esquire] Stromness.
