001 A new street at the west side of the town which is only feud as yet on its east side. It branches off Academy Street & extends at present about ten chains in a north west direction. The houses are chiefly self contained villas of two storeys high & elegantly built - property of various persons.

001 This road was originally called the wester quarry road but since feuing has began at its upper end the name has been changed to its present designation. It extends from end of Academy Street to the sea in a parallel direction to Albert Street. The houses at its upper end are plain & commodious dwellings of two storeys high newly erected & the property of various persons.
