EAST GRANT STREET [Nairn] East Grant Street Adam Davidson, Town Clerk, on whose authority the name has been written, he having become responsible for the Town Councils agreeing to its being adopted to distinguish it from "Grant Street" of which it always formed part. 001 A short street extending from Union Street tp Grant Street, proper, from which it branches off at the sessional school, in an easterly direction to Union Street. The houses are generally of one storey in height slated & thatched, & in indifferent condition. Property of various persons - Note. This street has always been included in "Grant Street", but on the authority of A. Davidson Town Clerk, it has been distinguished from it by the prefix "East"
