014.01 | A plain but neat building capable of Seating 400 Situate about three miles from Garmouth on the Fochabers Road. It is built of a tawny red Colored Sandstone - hence Commonly called the "Red KirK". It is the only Established Church in Garmouth & Kingstone though Situated in different Parishes, And was built in the Year 1732 on the Amalgamation of the parishes of Dipple & Essil, now called Speymouth. It was enlarged in 1799 and is under the patronage of the Earl of Moray and the Laird of Garmouth |
