It is situated at the end of Academy Lane and near South Back Street. It consists of two large class rooms, superintended by a Rector who receives ₤95 a year from the Town and all the School fees, out of which he has to pay the salaries of his Assistants. The Branches of Education taught are the ordinary Branches besides Classics and Mathematics. The Average attendance is from 150 to 160. |
