007.16 This church stands at the north east corner of Guildry Street. It is a large, plain building lighted on either side by five windows with circular Gothic heads, and by two of similar dimensions in the South end. It was erected in 1843 & has seats for 1050 persons. Property of trustees of the Free Church of Scotland .

007.16 This Church occupies a space of open ground where Moray Street crosses Guildry Street at right angles. It is a neat Gothic edifice, with a spire on the north end, which rises to the height of 130 feet, and forms a striking object from the heights surrounding the town. It was erected in 1853 and is seated for 650 persons. Property of the Free Church of Scotland

007.16 This Church stands on the South St. opposite the Congregational Chapel. It is an elegant Structure, in the early English Style. On the west side there are fine double lancet windows, & at the South end there are two windows to match those on the other end but there are no windows in the east side. It was erected in 1842 & has 500 seats Property of the U.P. [United Presbyterian] church body.
