007.16 A handsome block of Masonry with arched doorways and windows in the form of a colonnade on the South side of High Street & extending back to South Street. The lower floor is fitted up with stalls occupied by Fleshers Greengrocers, &c. &c., & the second or upper floor is uppied as the Corn Market Hall, now used as a drill hall and Armoury by the Rifle Volunteers. It is designed after the Aberdeen market, But is not fitted up in the same manner. Property of a joint-stock company.
