STONE CIST CONTAINING HUMAN REMAINS FOUND HERE A.D. 1827 [Newton of Dalvey] 010.11 About half a mile to the South and close to the River Findhorn a Stone Coffin was found in 1827 containing human remains, the stone forming the Coffin have since fallen into the River Findhorn.
