Informants Cannot Say whether it is of Roman British Danish of Pictish Construction, when spoken of locally it is usually Called the "Old Camp" the proprietor of the ground John Borthwick Esq says he would suppose it to be of Danish Construction but it is mere conjecture for he adds it might as likely be of Roman formation |
