027.10 A small but neat building situated near the centre of the parish of recent erection and one storey with dwelling house attached two stories all slated and in good repair. Reading writing and arithmetic are the branches principally taught. Average attendance of scholars about seventy. The master's salary , paid by the heritors, is thirty pounds a year with the school fees which generally amount to twelve pounds a year-there is no government allowance. It is the parish school.
