There are three churches in Stonehouse - The Parish Church, U.P.Church, and a Free Church. There are also three schools - the Parish School, Free Church School, and a Subscription School. In Sandford there is another Subscription School. The Avon Water forms part of the north - eastern boundary, and runs across the parish forming the western boundary of Stonehouse to the point where the Kype water enters it. The Kype is the southern By: The Cander water forms part of the eastern. The principal antiquities in the parish are the Roman Road, (Plans xx1v-13 and 14 and xxx.4 and xxx1-1),
