FRANKFIELD LOCH Frankfield Loch Frankfield Loch Frankfield Loch Frankfield Loch Estate Maps Andrew Grey; Frankfield Andrew Menzies, Avenue end G Miller Esqr. 007.10 A large Loch partly in this parish & partly in the Parish of Cadder. It is generally dry in Summer Seasons, & in winter, particularly in wet seasons, is flooded to the extent shewn on Examination Traces. The edge given on the east side is difficult to define except when at its fullest; the South & West sides are better defined, the latter being drains, one of which is the head of Molindinar Burn. The fields adjoining the sides formed by the drains, are in rainy seasons overflown for a short distance from the Loch. The waters of the Loch is the property of the City of Glasgow & under the Baillie of Provan's charge. The surface, or Land of it, is claimed by M. Sprott Esqr. of Garnkirk & G. Miller Esqr. of Frankfield.
