012.09 | The old farmhouse of Braidhurst now occupied by workmen. The term "Old" is used since the presenthouse used as a farm(south) had been built. All the proprietor's documents, it is said, merely give it as "Braidhirst" from being on those lands, but it is sometimes called "Old Braidhurst" in the locality. In cases like these the name usually shifts to the farmhouse in use. |
