024.03 This is a coal pit on the Lands Of Dalserf, the property of the Duke Of Hamilton, wrought by Colin Dunlop and Co. There is a tram road from this pit connected with the Lesmahagow Railway, which it joins at the farm house of "Over Dalserf" trace 5 xv111-15. The pit has been about 2 years in use, but the workings of the coal are not extensive.

024.03 This is a wooden shed and brick kiln and a clay pit at woodside colliery houses, used for the manufacturing of tiles for draining purposes. It has not been wrought for some time, but may be used again when required. This as well as "Woodside Colliery", is the property of J. Hutchison Esqr. of Woodside.
