Plans of Peeblesshire. 051 A fine conspicuous hill at the N.W. side of which runs the road from Dumfries to Edinburgh, the mile stone indicating that it is 44 miles to Edinburgh is at the foot of this hill and the boundary between the counties of Lanark and Peebles passes over the summit.
