011.08 | A covered spring well on the south west side of "Hay Hill" near "Park Wood [principal] used now as a Reservoir for supplying "Bothwell Park" house, Trace 1.X1.12, from which there are pipes to the "Lady's Well. The name from a tradition in the locality, is derived from a Lady being murdered at it, at the time. It is well known. |
