[Turnpike] Road, and belongs to a sect called the "Evangelical Union", but vulgarly "Morrisonian" from a minister of the name who was the founder. Their origin is, upon the authority of the Incumbent, from different or unsound, doctrine with the U.P. [United Presbyterian] Church from which they have seceded. Latterly they, the Congregationalists, or Evangelical Union, have divided among themselves, but the chapels of both are still styled "Congregational chapel" _ There are four in the district of Glasgow - Hamilton, Cambuslang. Bellshill, & Glasgow, The Manse, on the personal authorities, is situated north of the
