A large Commodious Farm House with extensive Offices in good repair, attached is a Saw, Corn & Bone crushing Mill for the use of the farm. The farm was formerly called Slogarie but in passing into the hands of the present proprietor its name was changed to that it now bears. A stone in front of the Office bears the following inscription
'1844
Rae's Mains erected by George Bruce tenant of Greenknowe named in memory of his Grandfather'
It is the property of the above named George Bruce of Greenknowe Berwickshire
