A short narrow close at the end of which is a building occupied as dyeworks. Some little manufacture in the way of Spinning & weaving wool is carried on in the upper story of the building in which only 3 or 4 persons are employed The dye works being the principal work Belonging to Mr Brown, Market Square who has also another dye works adjoining his dwelling
