026 An old stone building with Arched Dome, it had been used as a prison during the years of persecution. It is now used as one of the offices belonging to the farm.

Mr. Welsh the proprietor of this place also relates the tradition above stated and further adds that his father remembered a watch tower being adjoining this building and all enclosed by a strong wall. Mr. Milligan of Crocketford whose ancestors lived in this neighborhood for generations past relates the same tradition and relates several traditional anecdotes connected with this place.
