William McMillan Gleckmalloch		 021 A small river which takes its rise in the Balloch Hills Ayrshire, and runs in a Southerly direction, being joined in its course by several tributaries (the principal being the Water of Truil) forms a junction with the River Cree, near the farm house of Larg. It forms for a short distance the boundary of the Counties of Kirkcudbright and Ayr.
