[Situation] About 1/2 Mile W.N. [West North] West of Cairndery. A stone built Bridge of one arch crossing the River Cree, on the road leading from Newtonstewart to Barhill in Ayrshire. It was built in 1844 by S. Arnot and expences defrayed by Rigby Wason esq. of Corwar. It is a county Bridge. |
