014 A considerable And irregularly shaped lake on the farm of Buchan situated a short distance N. [North] of Loch Valley to which it is connected by 'Mid Burn. Its southern portion is studded with a few Small islands none of which have any name, And is supplied by the superfluitant water of Loch Arron and a few Small streamlets having no name. How it derived its name is not known in the locality
