A large stone in the "Water of Minnick" near to Pulgown farmhouse It is traditionally handed down that at a very remote period a certain King when crossing the "Water of Minnick"at "Kings Ford" was drowned there and his body being carried down the stream by the current was Arrested in its progress by this stone on which it was driven up, and it (the stone) has been called ever since in the locality "King's Chair" Note No information can be obtained whether these two objects has had Any Connection, traditional or otherwise with "Kings Cairn".
