Studded Islands and its edges are greatly indented, these indentations forming many promontories it wholly surrounded by Moss. (nence the name Moan) gaelic i.e. turf or fuel. It abounds with pike and trout of a large Size but the latter are Shy. Consequently the Latter is not Much frequented by Anglers.
