010 [Situation] About 7/8 mile N.W. [North West] of Cairnyhill farm house.
An ancient cairn or tumulus of a circular shape, about 34 ft in diameter and 3 in height, on the farm of Bridgemark. Mr. Good says that it is traditionally handed down as being a tumulus, as Similar ones have been opened and human bones found in them.-

A small circular spot of ground about 60 feet in diameter and surrounded by a rampart about 2 feet high composed of earth. Mr. Goode says that he has always heard it called a Camp, no other information can be gleaned in the locality concerning it.
