A small mountain Stream being the Continuation of the Beubrack and the Carlae Burns, running in a Southerly direction by "Cornharrow farm house" and the "Knowe of Carroch" where it receives Cornharrow Burn, which adds Considerable to its Size. Its Course is now bordering on a South Westerly direction and becomes the Boundary between the farms of Carroch and Stroanpatrick Blackmark and Stroanfreggan (hence the name, it is now crossed by the road leading from Carsphairn to Minnihive by means of a Stone Bridge passing by Stroanfreggan School and empties into the Water of Ken at Smeaton Holm.
