A tolerable Sized hill on the farm of Belig the soil of which is chiefly arable land. On its summit is a Trigl [Trigonometrical] Station Called by Trig, [Trigonometrical] Party "Doon Hill" Also there is on it an Ancient Fort or Parish. Which gave rise to the name of the Hill.
