A large and conspicuous rock situated between the Little Ross and the mainland and from the latter it can be approached during the Spring tides quite dry. It took its name in Consquence of a Woman Called Richardson who had been gathering Mussles on it, and met with a narrow escape of her life owing to the tide surrounding her unobserved.
