Doon Hill--Hill--A small arable hill on the farm of Belig, on its summit is a Trigl. [Trigonometrical] Station. Called by the Trigl. [Trigonometrical] Party Doon hill also on its summit is an old Circle Section thus [Sketch Entry] which Mr. Thorburn says is an old fort, it is fortified with a [durable] rampart about 4 feet high, but lately the farmer of Belig levelled part of them on the East side.--Rerrick--David Fisher
